1. Agreement
By using the Horizon assessment service ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is currently offered in a private-testing phase and may change, be suspended or be withdrawn at any time.
2. What the Service is — and is not
Horizon is an information tool. It evaluates the answers you provide against the published criteria of government skilled-migration, investment and short-stay visa programs worldwide and presents the results with explanations. It is not legal advice, not immigration advice tailored to your circumstances, and not a substitute for a licensed immigration adviser, lawyer or the relevant government authority. No output of the Service is a promise, prediction or guarantee of any visa outcome. Immigration authorities make all final decisions under rules that change frequently.
3. Accuracy and currency of information
We work to keep the rules current: every official source page our criteria are drawn from is monitored automatically each day, flagged changes are reviewed by a specialist, and the full rule set receives a quarterly human review (last completed 2026-Q1). Even so, rules, fees, thresholds and processing times change without notice, and estimates based on self-assessed answers (such as an untested language level) are exactly that — estimates. You must verify current requirements with the relevant government before acting. The Sources & Methodology page lists every official page we rely on.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide honest answers (the report is only as good as its inputs), to use the Service for personal, non-commercial evaluation of your own or your family's options, and not to scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, misrepresent or interfere with the Service.
5. Intellectual property
The Service — its design, text, scoring methodology and software — is owned by the operator of Horizon. Government eligibility criteria are public information belonging to their respective authorities. You are welcome to print and share your own report.
6. Consultation requests and your data
Requesting a specialist review is optional and creates no obligation on either side. To deliver your report and follow up, we save the contact details and answers described in our Privacy Policy; by continuing past the first step you consent to that. Any subsequent engagement with an immigration consultant is a separate relationship governed by that consultant's own terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and the operator of Horizon is not liable for decisions taken in reliance on the Service, for visa or application outcomes, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
